Macro Description
If you have Lichborne, this macro will first cast Lichborne then cast death coil on yourself to heal you with one button ( you control how you use death coil by just clicking this macro as many times as you need with lichborne up ). You will not deselect your current target. Glyph of Death's Embrace works great with this (Glyph of Death's Embrace - Use: Your Death Coil refunds 20 runic power when used to heal).

Except that the latter part of that post is no longer valid. The glyph only refunds the 20 runic power when used on ghouls now.

I’m not sure if this is an old post, but as of patch 4.2 I can not get this macro to work.
Copied/pasted exactly as it appears above:

/cast [target=player] Death Coil
Pressing the macro key more than once results in character trying to cast Lichborne over and over again (which is on cooldown after first press).
Still trying to find a lichborne healing macro that works.

Wrong, i raid cata content as a bloodtank and have specced lichborn for the extra defensive button. I consider this a raiding stapl as it allows the DK to help the healers with their job with very little effort.

The following statement is incorrect,
“Blood Death Knight properly talented in blood would not have Lichborne in their spells.. so..” .

The healing power of this abillity is is impressive. (It is Especially usefull when used with glyphed vampiric blood and glyphed death coil.) many dks consider it almost mandatory for raid progression. This macro is very usefull in that it allows you to both go lichborne and deathcoil yourself without having to change your current target.
I am very thankfull to the person who submitted this macro.

As of patch 4.2 it doesnt work but it will work if you use
#showtooltip Lichborne
/cast Lichborne

/cast Death Coil

Been mixing all ur lichborne macros together and this works without droping your current target. include brackets and u will have to click to cast the death coils. the button will hav the cd for lichborne

here is another good combo just have to make sure all spells are ready if rune tap does not cast on first hit it will the second hit you can use this to heal yourself with DC.
